BNB.Build 2025 is the official open-theme hackathon hosted exclusively by the Bulls and Bears Club, VIT – designed to empower student innovators, coders, designers, and thinkers to build something bold in just 72 hours.

Whether you're solo or in a team of 2–3, your goal is simple: Create something that matters.

No theme. No limits. Just you, your skills, and your imagination.

Requirements

What to Build

Participants must:

  • Build a working prototype or MVP of a software/hardware-based solution.

  • You may use any tech stack of your choice.

  • Projects can be web apps, mobile apps, AI tools, fintech platforms, games, etc. – it's an open-theme hackathon.

  • All work must be created within the hackathon timeframe (June 29 – July 1).

What to Submit

  • Project Title
  • Short Description of the idea and its purpose
  • Full Devpost Write-up including:
    • Problem you're solving
    • Your solution and how it works
    • Tech stack used
    • Key features
    • Challenges you faced and what you learned
  • GitHub Repository Link (public)
  • Working Hosted URL
  • Team Members and roles

  • Innovation & Creativity
    How unique, original, or inventive is the idea? Does the project demonstrate fresh thinking, bold creativity, or an unconventional solution to a real-world problem?
  • Execution & Functionality
    Does the project work as intended? How well is the core idea implemented? Are features functional, responsive, and technically sound?
  • Design & User Experience (UI/UX)
    Is the interface intuitive and user-friendly? Is the design aesthetically pleasing and accessible? Does the user flow make sense?
  • Impact & Usefulness
    How relevant and meaningful is the problem being solved? Does the solution have the potential to make a real difference or help a specific audience?
